George adds to his résumé

Thank you for pointing out to me yesterday that despite their lack of formal training, George and Alan
are much more than adorable models for this blog. They are comedians, musicians, and pasture therapists as well.
When I went out to feed them lunch Monday, George demonstrated another of his many talents:

Anchor.

George: It's very windy. I don't want it to blow away.

  2. I believe in donkey language that is the sign for "More Please".

  3. Are you sure that isn't sarcasm? It's what my dog does when his bowl is empty at meal time. "Look! My bowl is so empty I can stand in it!" If I don't notice the silent criticism, he puts one foot in the bowl and scrapes it across the floor. It's a lot like the sound of nails on a chalkboard.

  6. I have heard that donkeys can be excellent anchors. When they set their mind to staying put, they stay put. :)

  8. So adorable! My mini does the same thing with his feed bucket. Sometimes he also manages to flip it all the way over.

  12. Ha-ha! I meant to comment on this post, so I hope you read this! What I wanted to point out is that in yesterday's post I told the story of George and Alan planning their next (mis)adventure...and I said it would have to do with buckets!! Little did I know that George wouldn't be kicking anything around, but would find a way to make us laugh by simply standing around. He's got a knack for this comedy routine!!
