Odd man out

Alan: I'm sick of being the smallest one in the herd.

Alan: Why are you standing with Lucy today? Is it because I'm short?

Alan: I'm tall enough to tickle your nose.

Alan: You won't be able to ignore me if duck under for a sneak attack.

Alan: Oh, come on, you guys! Break it up and let me stand over there with you.

George: What do you think, Lucy? Should we let him in?

Alan: Come on, Lucy! Don't make me beg.

Lucy: Scratch my neck while I think about it.

Alan: Freakin' royal highness...who does she think she is?

Lucy: I heard that.

  1. I think Alan needs to email Charlie Drummond in OK and discuss the challenges of short man syndrome ;-D

  2. Ears, ears and more ears in this conference. I'm glad to see Lucy is accepted into the herd now. There is always a pecking order even in the animal world.
    Best always, Sandra

  3. Great post btw, your camera is turning out some pretty awesome pictures.

  4. Alan's ears and eyes on the last two pictures...OMG. The boy has more expressions that most people do.

  5. I can't tell you how much Alan's expression makes me want to give him a hug and a smooch on the nose. (No offense, Smooch!)Love to him from Atlanta!

  6. These kids are just too much! I love your stories, love your pictures, love your burros/donkeys!!!
