A Prank in the Pasture ~ The Conclusion

This all started because George, accidentally or on purpose, closed the gate between himself and Alan and the two were separated for an hour. Alan got mad, and then he got even. Then George didn't want you all to think he was a pushover, so he took control.

I am 4 inches taller than you, and don't you EVER forget it!

I am two months older than you, and don't you EVER forget that either!

I remember. Really I do. Now let me go.

Break it up, you guys. Somebody's gonna get hurt, mom's gonna get upset,
she's stressed out enough about the locoweed. Give her a freakin' break!

You're preachin' to the choir, Hank.
Convince George to stop chasing my ass and we can all relax.

Sorry about all the dust on your lens, mom. It's George's fault.

Would you two just stop? Now Smooch is upset!

Yeah, cut it out. You're scaring me.

Enough is enough! Call a truce already.
I will not tolerate this behavior in my barnyard.

And finally, Deets – the voice of reason – convinces George and Alan to play nice and take a nap.

  2. Good Lord. When one of the boys gets a might "tetched" all hell breaks loose. I've been exhausted for three days just watching those two..........hahahahahaha. Love them all.

  3. Those two really are like little kids! Or dogs. Their antics never seem to end, do they : )

  5. Good thing the Deets Pasture Patrol got the boys to simmer down! Every barnyard needs a voice of reason to keep the peace!

  6. You might need to threaten to send them to boarding school.
I would love watching them. I might even run with them a little.

  12. Sheriff Deets and his long arm of the paw, settles the score peacefully. The wild woolly west is now woolly and peaceful!!

Great pictures and captions, Linda. I just want to scratch their butts and ears.

  15. Reminds me sooo much of when my boys were little - same fightin', runnin', tauntin' - thought it would drive me crazy at the time, but, boy, I sure do miss it. Great pictures and story.

  21. I can hear the bluegrass/"Beverly Hillbilly" music playing as all hell broke loose for a bit! Hysterical that Hank finally tried to put his hoof down. And poor Smooch.....does no one listen to him? Yea...leaave it to a cat to put his paw down and they all listened......

  22. PS: were you just completely cracking up as this whole thing unfolded....or were you a little nervous hoping that it didn't end of with needing a call to the vet?

  23. There is no end of fun at the 7MSN with those two characters! I love the last photo and Alan's red ears- now that they aren't pinned! Of course they listened to Deets- he rules!

  24. This is precisely why I hate to leave town! I miss the big dust ups.

  25. PPS: I was looking at this series of posts again tonight....sent the links to a friend! Seriously, you should put this in a slide show with some bluegrassy type music in the background. (you know the kind I'm talking about....when there is chaos going on in the Beverly Hillbillies or something)

    so much fun!!!!
