The feral beast cases the joint

This is what happens every time I let the feral beast in the house.

He walks silently from room to room...

...looking left, looking right...

...around every corner...

...in all the nooks and crannies...

...through every single room...

...under all the beds...

...until he is thoroughly convinced that evil is not lurking nearby...

...evil, in this case, being Smooch.

  1. And what, may I ask, does he do if he finds her? Arch and hiss? Retreat and keep watch?

    1. Arch and hiss, which is why I double-check that Smooch is outside before I let him in. We hate drama.

Go Johnny, go! (And the feathersphere is looking great! I need to start another one as mine is overfull and I have three small vases full of feathers waiting for a sphere session.)

  5. I thought by now they would get along. They must be like the coyote and the roadrunner.

  6. I have to say I'm totally impressed with how spotless your floors are! How do you do that out in the 'country', with animals?

    1. I happened to have vacuumed the previous evening, otherwise you would have seen herds of dust bunnies.
