Moonlighting

The light from the recent full moon was bright enough to navigate the pasture and take a few pictures.
I kept telling everybody to stand perfectly still so they wouldn't appear blurry from the long exposures.
Lucy cooperated; the others, not so much.

    1. Same thing I thought. It needs framing.

  5. The one of Hank looks like an amazing painting!
The second one down looks like a donkey at Christmas. Is there any way to photoshop out the butt of the sweetie in the right of that picture. I would love a print of it if you could. Donkeys are terribly important to the Christmas story as we all know!

    1. I learned a bunch taking these, which I plan to re-shoot during the next full moon ... assuming it's not too cold. I'll try to get something print-worthy for you.

  7. That was a beautiful bright night sky! I found a setting on my camera that lets me take night shots. It takes three rapid progression shots and then somehow 'stitches' them together. I love how the stars show up on your second shot. Isn't it one of the best times to hang out with your herd ... at night? I love standing up in the woods with my guys at night. That is one of their favourite dark haunts.

  11. I'm partial to the first one; it too looks like an oil painting. Nice effects, beautiful light stretching across the frame with that cloud.
