Saying so long to summer

The whole point of Labor Day is not working, right? Good.
Because not much labor is being expended here this weekend.
Despite the long list of things I should be doing, I've elected to focus on the list of things I want to be doing.
Like riding Lucy by day, and binge-watching "24" by night,
and spending as much time as possible in the pasture, because it may never look this way again.

  2. *That* is quite an impressive pasture (especially with Hank grazing in the background) ,, and in NM? Who'd have thunk??

Enjoy your non-labor day and savor all that is dear to you. My best to you and your critters!

  3. Being from Ky, I've always wondered what made you think you had grass in the pasture. Now I see... you DO have grass. I felt like this news alert was just for me. It's a pretty site !

  6. Looks like you won't have to feed hay for a very long time!

  7. Okay, I think that's the shortest video you've ever posted! I turned the sound on, cause you always have great sound tracks, but way down, so as not to wake the rest of the house...
At any rate, amazing grass! Enjoy!

  11. "Amber waves of grain"! Hank is so gorgeous and so lucky in being able to eat and eat. Can you imagine the SIZES of George and Alan if they were allowed to "eat their fill"?!! Their grain tank has no "fill" line.

  15. Good for you! Everyone should do more of what they want to do, rather than what they think they have to do...life is too short to not spend as much time with our critters as possible. :-)
