Johnny goes fishing but doesn't catch anything

It's been awhile since I've posted any pictures of Fish.

He's still alive and swimming and pooping in the stock tank,
but he's also eating the algae so I'm not complaining.

Under that goldfish exterior is the heart of a shark.

 He fears nothing.

Thanks Carson, I had been thinking about Fish! Your two orange critters are quite lovely together.

  2. Maybe he's lonely, and he can see that golden colored cat up there and thinks it's a relative.

  3. Or maybe he just hasn't seen Johnny Cash Cat with a mouse or a lizard hanging out of his mouth...

  4. Johnny CC has no idea how yummy Fish is! Good to see Fish is still with you.

  5. I think fish needs a roommate. As for the poop, I wouldn't worry about that as it's not likely a health hazard, and a fair trade for keeping algae and bugs out.

  8. I had forgotten about Fish. Happy to see he is still swimming, swimming, swimming. Johnny photobombs everybody. Your camera loves that cat.

  9. I'm thinking he's safe and sound. Going swimming for a mere two bites of fish is not often on the bucket list of most orange cats.

  10. Hopefully a fish that is smart enough to avoid donkey tongues can avoid cat claws should Johnny decide to try fishing! I had a cat who would sit on the top of my aquarium where there was a 1" opening and dip his feet in the water hoping to hook a fishy. He never did catch any thank goodness.

  14. If you put a piece of copper wire in the trough the green algae usually turns brown & doesn't get as bad as when one doesn't. You can use copper pennies as well as long as they are pre-1982. I use copper wire that one would use for making things....you can buy at Wal-Mart.

Glad to see that Fish is well and looks like he's even grown a little!! =)

I wouldn't use copper pennies or any other metals with Fish as they can be toxic if you're not careful.

  16. Maybe fish needs a friend in there...? I'll bet Johnny was surprised to see him in his water dish. *grin*
