Thursday night in the pasture with Smooch

 I wandered around pulling locoweed...

...while Smooch sat in the Ranger...

...and kept a lookout for the herd.

  2. smooch was "supervising" ;) We have a couple of inches of snow here in Northern Alberta, I would not mind seeing a weed or 2 eh!

  3. You know of course my Smooch envy led me to investigate a dog at NMDOG that had been rescued down in Las Cruces. He had been chained and left after his owners just moved away. The thing was, he has those same deep thought eyes that Smooch has. So it is because of your wonderful dog that Jameson came to live with us. Once we met him and he could perform his magic on us that is, we were his. He has turned out to be the best dog for the whole family. Thank you Ms. Smooch for being such an inspiration. xoxo Casa de Cuckoo

  4. Still pulling locoweed? Maybe you could plant something like short sunflowers and choke it out. Well, maybe sunflowers wouldn't do it, but they would sure look pretty against that gorgeous New Mexico sky.
