Postcard from Florida #1 and Ranchsitter Dispatch #1

I made it to Florida without incident, unless you count the sprint through DFW airport to make my connection.
There's something about riding in a convertible that brings out the selfie in me.

Danni made it to the ranch without incident, unless you count the weather delay in Portland
which resulted in a later-than-anticipated arrival at the 7MSN in the dark.

Ever prepared, she brought her headlamp to help her find the way.
Smooch greeted her with wet sloppy kisses, but I'm told George and Alan both told her
they had never seen her before in their lives. I'm sure they'll change their minds in the light of day
or once she gives them more treats, whichever comes first.

For now, she's all settled in next to a roaring fire and I can stop worrying.

  2. Hurray! Danni figured out the wood stove. And has a headlamp. That is one self-sufficient lady. Enjoy your visit with your Mom, Linda.

  6. Danni is the most amazing person and such a wonderful friend. You are most fortunate to have her in your life. George and Alan, so silly. And I suppose by the time you get home, Johnny will be firmly settled in your house :-)

  7. The headlamp probably thru George and Alan off. They thought she was something from Roswell.
