...but this time he's willing to make an exception.
I told Johnny about the clamoring in the comments last week for more pictures of him,
and he wouldn't want to disappoint.
Johnny is a creature of the night. There are too many scary things out and about during the day
(e.g., chickens, Wynonna, Hank, Lucy, George, Alan, Smooch, etc.),
so he stays holed up in the feed room until it gets dark.
It's great in that I always know where to find him, but interesting photo ops are few and far between.
Maybe one day he'll feel secure enough to interact with the other animals.
For now, I'm just happy that he interacts with me.
Johnny: I think I hear hoofbeats.
Gorgeous, beautiful, pictures and cat! what a nice connection you have established, it shows in his eyes. Thin Johnny has classy poses, thank you for these sweet pictures

I don't blame him, those chickens have hungry eyes.
ReplyDeleteHe really is a handsome guy.
ReplyDeleteJohnny looks a lot like my Dewey.
ReplyDeleteI have always been drawn to black cats but those yellow guys are almost always very sweet and affectionate.
Thanks for these photos!
I love starting my day with your blog.
:D
Gorgeous, gorgeous, thanks!!!! He clearly likes you.
ReplyDeleteHe's a handsome guy. Can't blame him for avoiding those big hooves and cat- eating chickens!
ReplyDeleteThanks Johnny! Nice to see you again. Watch out for those chickens. Beaks. They have sharp pointy beaks.

Love the toe stretching photo!
ReplyDeleteJohnny looks like one happy kitty.....;-)
ReplyDeleteHe could be Hobbes' twin. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteVery princely bearing ---
ReplyDeleteLove that third photo - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think you have the perfect barn cat - does his night job, sticks around, reclusive enough to not be clamouring to come in the house (and who can resist a clamouring cat?), but still willing to say hi to you.
Oh, he is ADORABLE! :-) Thank you for sharing him with us!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making an appearance, Johnny. Love, love, love.
ReplyDeleteJean has it right - the perfect barn cat! Thank you for "capturing" Johnny Cash Cat for us.

He is one proud and happy cat. Nice of him to be so accommodating for these pics. Of course the beautiful sky shot shows that he had something out there to enjoy in the daylight, along with your company.
ReplyDeleteTell JC2 that his adoring fans are satisfied.... for now
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of Johnny pole-dancing. He has a baby face, doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteI like orange kitties, sometimes called gingers. Yours is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a moment with Johnny Cash Cat. He is a gorgeous ginger tabby. His eyes are so intense....and loving, looking at you. Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteHe is one handsome boy! Love photo #3 and #6. He looks very regal. So glad he's a smart barn cat. Knows to avoid those chickens! :)
ReplyDeletePicture #3 is....magnificent. Absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteI love that he wants to hang with you when the 'big guys' are gone!
I like the 2nd to last picture of Johnny lying down alertly. He reminds me of a cheetah; just needs some football-player black eye camouflage. (We recently got a 2-month old kitten, so Johnny looks positively enormous in comparison!)
