An anniversary walk

Saturday marked the second anniversary of Lucy's arrival at the 7MSN. In some ways, it seems like yesterday,
but in other ways, it seems like she has been part of my life (and this blog) forever.
We took an impromptu walk around the fence line to reminisce.

While I looked back on all our adventures, Lucy kept looking back for Hank, George and Alan.
You can't take the herd out of a donkey.

Many of you know that Lucy and I met online, and it was a match made in heaven.

She fit in with her new family immediately...

...and the 7MSN wouldn't be the same without her.

Me: Come on, Lucy, before I get all teary-eyed, I've got something new to show you.

Me: Check out the new path! It leads right to the sunroom.

Me: Lucy, what are you looking at?
Lucy: My stunningly beautiful reflection in the window.

Lucy: Will I be able to go in there to escape the heat and the wind?
It looks like a fine place to take my meals.

Me: I think it's time to go back to the barn before you get any more ideas.

Love the new path...boy, it sure doesn't seem like 2 years already. You'll have to put a mirror in her stall hahaha Have a great day and hugs to all

  3. Lucy, you are stunning! You should have a mirror in the barn so you can admire yourself. Tell your Mom.

  4. The path is beautiful as is Miss Lucy! Yay... Two years!
That face of hers with her long eyelashes and how she likes to cuddle up against you... I miss that
Hank would hog the mirror, the stud that he is :-)

  7. Lucy, it looks like these celebrations only go so far. I'm in favor of the mirror in the barn too. Maybe one up high for you donks and one down lower that Wynonna could enjoy as well.

    Cheers, girls

  8. Lucy is a beauty and yes, she fit right into your herd. I think it's so nice that Estella can look in on her.
The walkway looks good with a donkey on it.
