Sticker shock

As I watched the sunroom take shape this past week, one thing was troubling me...

...the great big stickers on all the windows. I was hoping the contractor knew some magic way to get them off,
as I wanted no part of the scraping scratching peeling cursing removal process.
Then yesterday, my curiosity got the better of me...
video
It takes so very little to make me happy. All manufacturers who stick tags on things
should be required by law to use this kind of glue. The world would be a better place.

It was warm enough yesterday to throw open the doors and try out some temporary furniture for size.
Smooch helped me confirm that a twin-sized bed and the new glider chair will fit quite comfortably.

Smooch: I think we should sleep out here under the stars tonight to make sure this bed is in the right place.
Me: What a good idea.

Aren't simple pleasures the best?! Missed a shriek of happiness on the vid though.
Do you know what I thought when I saw that lovely room? 'It's a perfect guest room', that's what I thought... (!)

This is SO much fun to watch! It's looking great, ad you and Smooch are going to LOVE it so much.
As for the window stickers, I replaced my windows with Jeld-wen windows and was thrilled with the peel off labels and pane protectors because it was so satisfying to remove them (my windows have mullions so I had lots of peeling satisfaction).

Totally with you on the glue issue. I get really OCD about labels/stickers/tags...they MUST come off, have absolutely NO residual sticky gunk left on the item, and I will spend hours, if necessary, to achieve this goal. Goo Gone, nail polish remover, heat, razor blades, paint thinner, etc...whatever it takes. I've amassed quite an arsenal. I LOVE the labels on your windows, and it should be a requirement BY LAW for manufacturers to have to use it! AMen.

Now, if there were only a way to get dog nose smears off windows so quickly and easily. :)

I foresee this becoming the most popular room in the house.

The sun room is looking awesome! I'm glad the stickers weren't forever-glued on there.

That's just how I pictured Smooch. I'm glad to see she's claimed her spot.
I figured you worked about 2 minutes to get those stickers off. Not bad at all.
The glider looks like the perfect spot to sit with a beverage. Love it.

A glider chair instead of glider bench-great idea! I can picture you sitting in that chair at sunset and just relaxing with Smooch.

Love the chair! What a view with those windows and I bet that's where Smooch will be on her security detail.
