30 mostly uneventful minutes in the pasture with Lucy and the boys

It was Sunday morning around 9:00. I headed out with my camera to find the herd,
in hopes they would be doing something blogworthy.

They were not. Rather than stir them up and force the issue, I stood back and waited for something to happen.

*humming Final Jeopardy theme song*

Apparently they had spent so much time huddled in the barn together trying to stay warm last week,
they were all in need of some personal space.

Hank: Alone at last...except for that paparazzo back there.

Lucy: It feels so stinkin' good to be out here among my peeps.
No more infirmary pen for me. My leg feels just fine.
Now if mom would just stop watching my every step and worrying about me, we could all relax.

Alan: I'm not sleeping. I'm just resting my eyelids.

George: Maybe I should lie down before I fall down. No, that would take too much energy.

Lucy stretches! This is the most exciting thing to happen so far...

...until George farts.

George: Please tell me you're not going to post that.

  3. They give me lots to think about even if they aren't running around. For example, imagine how useful is the ability to sleep while standing up.

  9. And how many of us began to hum the jeopardy song as soon as we read that in the beginning pics??!! Okay, payback..."It's a Small World"..!!

Gosh, you had me laughing out loud with these pics and captions :-)
I think George was about to ask "WHO DID THAT?" when he turned and saw you and the camera-of-truth.

It's OK George, it makes us able to relate to you Blog Stars as real animals. Something that Mom and her pooper scooper knows very well...;-)

  13. This is just about the same excitement level there is at my house! Which is why I only write a blog every blue moon.

I am gonna have to rethink this. A picture of Zkhat in her litter box,
Stella gnawing a rawhide, me knitting. Who said we never DO anything.
