Who will miss them the most?

I got to spend the last day of my vacation today at home with my animals and Ethel and the Ethelettes.

It was warm enough for a ride/walk around the ranch,

although we had to stop every once in awhile when George would block the trail.

George: A little to the left, please.

If Ethelette #1's city friends could see her now...

George: A little to the right, please.

It's a toss-up as to which of us will miss our ranchsitters the most when they leave tomorrow morning.

Lucy is thriving on the extra attention,

as is Wynonna,

and Smooch.

George: Down just a little bit to the left. Perfect.

George: Maybe if I break her other ankle, they'll stay a little longer.

  1. Welcome back! Yes, we missed you but not nearly so much if Ethel hadn't been so quick with the camera and e-mails.

I hope you had a wonderful time with your parents.

  5. I adored your awesome ranch sitters and wish them a safe journey home. They were dynomite... as is evident by the herd love shown.
Glad you're back in NM but hate to see the Ethelettes depart. Hasta la vista.....Oma Linda

  11. Ethel and the Ethelettes did a great job, took some great photos and definitely kept up with all the necessary scratchins and lovins. They set the bar high for any future ranchsitters.

Thanks to Ethel and her kiddos for keeping us updated---not sure I could have gone 3 days w/o seeing your critters.

  13. Uh oh...what will Hank do when the object of his desire leaves? I see some serious pining in his future.

I'm glad to see the lovely Miss Wynonna came out to enjoy the sun and bid the papparazzi farewell.

  14. Welcome back! I am happy that you were able to spend some time with your parents! I too really enjoyed Ethel and the Ethelettes. They did a great job! I am wondering what is in the can that is next to Wynonna. Beer? Soda? Bakeds beans? (No pork of course!)
