Oh what a blue-tiful morning

I fessed up yesterday that I was not a morning person as a child, but that has changed as I've grown older.
Good thing, too, because I'd hate to miss out on this part of the day.

I wake up looking forward to morning chores and checking in with the herd.

I'd like to believe that they're as happy to see me as I them,

but I know darned well...

what they really want is breakfast.

Some are more obvious about it than others.

  5. I agree, mornings are so wonderful... I'm always so pleased to have another one to enjoy when I open my eyes.
Your herd would be a lovely incentive to embrace the day. We have rooster in the neighborhood, not sure where and the marching band at the high school nearby all compete for "air" time just after sunrise....what a combo. I'd trade that for donkey yawns and Hank "raspberries" anytime.
Hope you get some rain from this approaching storm and a good weekend. Oma Linda

  11. I too love the early mornings. I get so much done in a short period of time. I also love how excited my dogs are to wake up and hang out with me-even though they slept right next to me all night! Oh, how they love hearing their peep's voices! Your pictures are exquisite!

  12. That sky out there is something else! Wow. I'm not really a morning person either, but Willow is forcing me to change my ways. I have been blessed with some beautiful sunrises and gorgeous light in the wee hours. And, there's always coffee, right?
