George and Alan aren't on speaking terms

I don't know who said what to whom. All I know is that two burros were in a total snit yesterday.
Even with my widest lens, I could barely get them both in the frame.

I may have overheard Alan saying something about this ranch not being big enough for both of them.
Whatever the cause of their spat, I'm sure it's just temporary and they will be attached at the hip
the next time I look out the window, just as they were when I took the picture below back in August 2009.

This is still my all-time favorite picture of my BLM boys.

  1. Maybe they're in a combined snit over not making the calendar cover ?

  2. Did you do something way back then to "disappear" George's hind legs?

  4. The colors are fabulous in this shot.
They truly are creatures of the universe.

  5. I certainly prefer the second one! I'd rather see 'em together than not speaking.... give 'em some carrots Mom - be the peacemaker!

  11. Actually, I think that besides not making the calendar cover, one of them called the other an ass. Sorry I couldn't resist the opportunity. I am a big fan of all things donkey.
