Leader of the pack

  1. It sure seems like Deets is scootin' around, trying to get away as quickly as possible in those first few pictures. My first thought was, "move on, move on and fast!", but then it seemed like all was ok. Whew!

  2. Apparently, George has not heard of the futility of trying to herd cats.

  3. I'm beginning to think there's some transference going on and Deets firmly believes he is one of "them." Deets is the man...uh huh, uh huh.

  7. Deets Takes Charge. Love that cat! The second last photo is precious with George peering around the bush.

  9. Love George's shadow against the barn wall in the first pick--makes him appear to be quite the noble steed!

  11. According to Cesar Millan, pack members follow "calm, assertive energy". There you have it - that's Deets! And he's enjoying the attention, no doubt. Nice to see Hank join in there, too - really, really good to see.

  13. Is this the meaning of "curiosity kills the cat"? Super photos ... love the one where burro's peeking around the tree and the cat is unconcerned! Yikes!

  14. So nice to see that Hank is joining in too - glad he is feeling a bit brighter :)

  16. Maybe Deets is getting a little too comfortable in the pen. Time for a little reminder of who's space is who's. (I'm pretty sure there should be a 'whom' in there some where. Correct in you mind as you read please.)

  23. Love it! Always a fan of that Deets. I want a jet black cat someday.
Okay, little slow on the uptake here, but just made the connection about Deets's name?? From Lonesome Dove?? Cool!

  24. Honestly I don't think Deet's knows he's a cat.
