Rosebud puts in a full day at the office

You would think that working from home, I wouldn't have to share an office.
But I do. And my officemate is such a slacker.

  1. Thankfully she is being "quiet" about it! ;-)
Hey, smooch was able to sleep in her own bed.

  2. I guess just honoring you with her presence is what makes her day, but what's with Smooch in the corner? She looks like someone interrupted her nap!

  3. Awww...she's so cute! I have a calico, too, "Patches", but she hardly ever comes out from beneath the bed! If she ever does, I'll have to grab my camera!

  4. A Dolly Parton song comes to mind.

  5. Looks like Rosebud is the life blood that keeps that office running smoothly. Hope she's up for a big raise in catnip this year.

  7. Ahh the life of a cat! They are the best coworkers ever. They always show up at the office and rarely call in sick. Office gossip is just not their style. I'm all for furry creatures as fellow employees.
    Best always, Sandra

  9. Looks like my kind of job! Where do I apply?

  10. She awakes!! Must be nice, I wouldn't mind lazing around til 1 30. Obviously she's not much of a morning cat! Hope she makes better use of her afternoons. =)

  11. It's good that your partner doesn't much get in your way. I love that she took lunch, too. :)

I see that Smooch is still firmly the owner of the new bed.

  12. I see Smooch making sure no one gets into that comfy bed! Rosebud is very good at what she does. Making sure everything stays quiet and that all the furniture is still snoozing places.

  13. She looks rather annoyed at 4:30; what happened, did you tell her that the office was closing and she'd have to leave? After all the hard work she did all day?

  14. Still waters run deep. Deep asleep. LOL

Glad Smooch has maintained bed control.

  15. Shirley, 4:30 is T minus 30 minutes 'til supper time - good enough reason in her mind to be annoyed.

  16. Isn't it funny how animals never forget when it is close to food time? Mine know exactly when it is 4pm (dinner)or 9pm (bedtime for them).

  18. A kitties work is never done. I loved the time stamp on the pictures!

  19. From Rosebud:

4:30 p.m. I'm starved after working so hard all day. Please feed me.

  20. A beautiful calico kitty! My cats are usually a big nuisance when I'm working - they get into and onto things and cause all sorts of trouble.

  21. She looks like she works so hard! You are one tough boss :)

  22. Hmmm....looks like Supervisor material.

  23. The benefits sure look cushy at your office, where do I punch in?

  24. That last picture says, "Isn't it quittin' time?"

  25. Did you ever tell the story about Rosebud's ears? I checked all of the cat archives. One makes mention that it is a story for a later time, but I didn't find it.
    Inquiring minds and all that...

  27. Great pictures - again...I had gotten Daffodil & Rosebud mixed up in my mind...What's Daffodil doing while Rosebud's working?

  28. I'm sure I read the story at the time. Shows what a fog I'm in during the holidays. I had a dog once that got a hematoma on his ear so he ended up with one upright and one floppy ear. Rosebud sure is a cutie. Wish I could have cats but we have parrots and I don't think they'd get along.

  29. To have a colleague like Rosebud ... I wouldn't mind at all. And Smooch is still master and commander of The New Bed!

  30. A deserved life for Rosebud! Thank you for granting her the life we all should be having!

  31. Might I ask if Rosebud weighs a lot? My mom and dad have a cat named Stewart Little who has narcolepsey; he often gets stuck in "stretch out" mode. He stretches and then falls asleep.....
Of course, he also weighs about 20-25 lbs!!!

  32. Oregontribal, the last time Rosebud weighed in at the vet's, she was 8.4 pounds.
