Stick a fork in me, I'm done

Well, not really done done, but as done as I'm going to get for tonight. I poured my second glass of wine as I started cleaning the mushrooms. I'm a brusher, not a washer, and it took a long time and two hands.

Then I made the Onion Blue Cheese sauce. It also took a long time and two hands. That second glass of wine was still there when I finished. Where are my priorities?

Now about this sauce – it tastes better and is more intoxicating than any glass of wine I've ever had. Serve it with any kind of beef. Serve it by itself. Serve it over a rock. Just treat yourself someday and make it. Then bow towards Oklahoma and thank Pioneer Woman for posting the recipe.

Smooch and I would like to thank you for spending a little of your Christmas Eve with us. We'll be back later in the weekend with a recap of how all these dishes tasted.

  4. oh yummy! I'm tired just thinking about all that cooking! We opened gifts tonight and my hubby got me Ree's cookbook for Christmas. I don't think I've ever loved a cookbook more in my whole life. She did a fantastic job with it.

Enjoy your Christmas and thanks for sharing your day with us!
