The reluctant elf

I really don't want any part of this. Can we fast forward to January, please?

This is asinine. I don't see the point.

The point, you knucklehead, is carrots!
Lots and lots of carrots! Humor her,
wear the hat, then she'll dig into
her pocket and give you some.

I'm waiting here.

Are you happy now?

I'm happy, George, and so is everybody else who's been waiting for this moment. It took you long enough.

  12. Ah, George, you're such a boy! And you've just reminded me that this is the day we finally hang up our George and Alan calendar in the little Pecan House. Now it is really a home!

  15. I've never really had experience with donkeys but I do know that my Everett will do anything for an apple. Everett is a horse by the way. Just maybe an apple or two might get a little more attention in the elf school.
    Your book is absolutely fabulous.
    Best always, Sandra

  16. Good boy! So good that...maybe you could join up with the miniature horses at Sandy's place. They are in training to help with sleigh pulling!

  17. You know; since moving to Alaska, I haven't seen one burro. They do grow some spectacular carrots, though!

    These pictures are great! :)

    Tell George thank you.

  18. Carxon,

I love the second from the last. How did we know that George would be the "last" Elf. It just figures.
