Another day, another sunset

Sunsets must be like snowflakes – no two are ever the same. Here are two views as the light disappeared today.

  1. I love the light at sunset. It's great for photos. Unfortunately, at my sister's place, the trees hide the sunset. So we really never have that nice glow here.
Your pictures are great. Get your new camera yet??

  2. Beautiful long shadows and interesting yellow glow.
No rain yet? We've started our rainy season and the desert is turning into a lovely fuzzy green.

  3. No new camera yet...it's supposed to arrive this afternoon. I'll bet money on it raining and not being able to get out to meet the UPS man.

I've got an idea brewing that involves big skies, sunsets, and growing..or not growing...grass. Check back for details soon.

  4. Love the big skies out west. The lighting is always interesting too. Good luck with your new camera.

  5. Ahhhh...your evenings look like they are much quieter than mine...sigh...
You should have a retreat for mothers--or anyone really!!--who needs a little reprieve from their daily grind :)
I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve, regarding your "idea."

  7. I'd love to visit a place for a few weeks where I could watch the sun rise and set over the horizon...it's all mountain here!
