  1. Oh my gosh...look at them laying there exactly the same! Seriously this is going so well. Foster parents must be so proud too.
How much fun she has added to the ranch! Lisa G in TN.

  2. Oh, Carson. She's sitting exactly like Smooch, her big sister. You picked a winner from the litter!

  6. It's a good thing you've retired. Watching all that cuteness would take up your entire day. Can't believe they were laying side by side in the same poise. And just as relaxed as can be.

  10. Alex gave just one little bark; trying to stir up some excitement. Such good girls. Rebecca2

    1. What looks like a bark is actually her catching a fly.

  17. So sweet and so wonderful that she has such a great role model to look up to and follow. You are incredibly fortunate to have this pair of pups.

  22. Monkey see, monkey do? LOL I didn't realize Smooch was almost 13 . . . often times a puppy will revitalize an older dog. You must be having a ball watching them forge a relationship . . . even if puppies can be exhausting!

  23. I have watched this over and over: little one lying next to bigger one, learning through osmosis about how to navigate the 7MSN. Copying the relaxed pose...just as sweet as can be. Smooch seems to be enjoying having an apprentice!

  28. I so agree that Smooch is the best dog ever, but Alex is proving to be a great 2nd in command dog. That's a complicated position and she's obviously taking in all the important info. I had two Saint Bernards (twice) cuz I have no good sense. And the second dog always has a position to fill, not easy but it takes a strong, smart dog to bow to another smart, strong dog. This is such a dear relationship to observe. Thanks for sharing. xoxo Oma Linda
