Projects with Paul

As if baking an Oregon tart cherry pie weren't kind enough,
Paul graciously offered to help me with some projects around the ranch on Saturday.

In preparation, we ate pie for breakfast.

Replace boards on manure spreader...check.

Saw off bottom of wire panel that made
an annoying racket when it scraped against the stones...check.

Replace shut-off valve on portable water tank...check.

Unclog slow-draining kitchen sink...check.

Serve as yarn bobbin ... check.

Walk Smooch ... check.

Let it be known that Danni provided valuable supervision to all of these projects.

And when the day was done, we all sat down to watch Hannah and Chico
walk around Wales in Seaside Donkey.

  4. Many thanks to Paul and Danni for joining the crew on the 7MSN, and fixing those annoying and mostly invisible to the naked eye projects that add up, but NEED fixing. Are you guys on Angie's List?! :) And, OK, that photo of the cherry pie actually made my mouth water...it should go into a high end Foodie Magazine! Oh, and I'm glad that Smooch is so fascinated with Chico's journey...wish I could sleep so soundly :)

  5. I'm not a big pie fan, but that looks awesome. Great way to hang out with friends, small chores and Danni walk with Smooch. Your hair is getting long. Dont' usually see it - hat (and of course camera pointed away).Wasn't expecting a post but looked anyway. Feels like a bonus :)

  10. I love everything about this. Pie, it's what's for breakfast (if you don't have cake), and Hannah and Chico's video! Sigh.

Thanks to Danni for documenting the projects. Its got to be more fun with friends along to give a hand. Love the day out ... a beautiful day for a hike and a burger.
