Thanksgiving leftovers

It's the day after Thanksgiving and the new girls are enjoying a little salad.

The older girls prefer 3-day-old soggy cole slaw.

Ethel and I will have leftover Velvet Pumpkin Soup and
That was the extent of our all-orange Thanksgiving dinner...well, except for the wine,
which was red. We will have a more traditional Thanksgiving feast
when Fred returns. He flew back to Ohio to pick up his pickup and their dogs.

The closing is still scheduled for Monday.

Just a few more days of waiting, and we should be able to put
this whole crazy experience behind us...

...as long as there are no more surprises on the other side of the door.

  10. How will Smooch feel about having dog friends. I have never seen her with another dog, maybe in town from the truck window.

  12. Safe travels for Fred and hopes for a successful closing Monday. I wanted to comment like Carine about Hank's hair. It looks like he's putting on a little winter shaggy-ness. I guess all the critters are this time of year. Good wishes to you too Carson. Happy (belated) Thanksgiving. Thanks for letting us follow the activities of you and your animals.

By the way, what is Hank's expression in the last photo?!
It's almost like he's giving you the evil eye, "Put down that camera and open the door now and give me some cookies!" Ha ha!
