Another one bites the dust (musically speaking)

Fear not – no one here has bitten the dust in the metaphorical sense.

Someone commented recently (and of course I can't remember who or on which post) that
they missed the musical soundtracks on my videos. I miss them, too, so let's fix that right now.

Today's video features the Vitamin String Quartet performing Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust."
I'm not making that up.

  1. I'm from the northeast and I personally love hearing your accent. I could listen to you talk all day

    1. Accent? I don't know what you're talking about. We Ohioans don't have an accent! Right Linda?

    2. I didn't think we did but now, I'm not so sure. I'm keeping my mouth shut from now on.

  2. I actually started coughing and feeling like I was in a dust storm unable to breathe, while I watched the dust fly! My, my, my. Those little babies got so dusty. I also thought of 'wax on, wax off'...and the millions of brush strokes you are facing each time you brush them. I wish I could be there to help. I think it must be so therapeutic for all of you! Have a great weekend...

  3. For a while I was disappointed because I missed your commentary, but then you spoke to them and we had music AND voice. All good!

  4. Not fair! Had me chuckling away here at how George's tail was keeping time to the violins! ;) I too enjoyed when I realized we'd get to hear you talking with the herd. I didn't see Hank anywhere. Is he much wiser about staying beautifully clean?

  5. Reminds me of white-faced clowns... It must be cool in the lime dust.
    Beautiful sky...sigh

I agree, beautiful sky!! I could just sit there and watch the sun set.

  6. That was my comment! Thanks! (And I don't mean to deprive anyone else. Good compromise, with both music and commentary.)
Allan was so dusty, one could hardly recognize him!

  7. If it rained on the herd now, the water + all that dust should make for pretty bulletproof (or at least mosquito-proof) coats!

P.S. It was Even Song's comment on the Troublemakers post. I remember because I came very close to voicing my dissent (even though I always enjoyed the perfect music you managed to find). To me, the best soundtrack for your videos are the sounds that you hear while recording, and your commentary. However, obviously, I'll be happy with whatever strikes your fancy--as long as you don't (horrible thought!!) "un-invite" us...

I like hearing you talk to everyone, so I think I prefer the regular videos.
Whew, your right hand looks like you're wearing a grey glove!! ha ha!!
