Breakfast delayed on account of moon and fog

I awoke Sunday morning to a big, bright moon and a layer of fog.

 Breakfast would have to wait.

 Hank was not pleased,

but this kind of stuff doesn't happen everyday.

Alan has an appreciation for nature's beauty...

...and will often join me on my morning photo expeditions...

...but he has his limits and is not shy about telling me when it's time to put the camera away.

  2. I am a self-proclaimed fog junkie. When we lived in California and I would come down the mountain to take the kids to school, I was in danger of driving off the side of it because I was marveling at the fog sitting on the valley floor. Your pictures capture that feeling for me again. Thanks!

  3. Beautiful, just beautiful! I can smell it,too. So fresh and clean and I never tire of the mountains and the heads peeking around the corner of the barn.

  7. Wow - great photos! Photo 6 creates an interesting illusion. The fog looks like sky and distant clouds...but wait, there are mountains above the sky!
And photo 4 is absolutely stunning!!!
