Smooch and George park and watch the sunset

Smooch loves to end her day sitting in the Ranger,

in amongst the herd yet safe within the confines of the front seat.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if one day George climbs in and sits next to her.

George: If I could just figure out how to get past this roll bar...

George: Teach me how to drive this thing, would ya?

George: Sunset sure is purty.
Smooch: Yep.

I read too many westerns. All my animals are starting to sound like cowboys.

  3. Maybe you should invite the boys and Lucy inside to watch the YouTube video of Patches the horse! George could watch Patches ride in the car!

  5. No I think you are correct, all animals do talk like cowboys. Especially the ones who live in the west.

  8. I think Smooch looks a tad bit uncomfortable with George's interest in going for a ride. The sunset does look purty shining on them.

  9. I have to agree that all animals in the west speak like cowboys. I have always said I was born 100 years too late. I love the cowboy lifestyle and had I been born in the 1860's out west, I would have been happy punching cows, eating from the chuckwagon, the whole nine yards. I am a big western fan too. Longmire is one my favorite programs.

  11. Sweet to see them in peaceful coexistence. Have you read Tony Hillerman? Not westerns but set in the southwest.

  12. The light in these photos is wonderful. If he could I bet George would drive. And as for western speak....who doesn't like the simplicity of it?
