  7. You were busy this year. What an awesome montage! From the ridiculous to the sublime, every photo made me smile - except the one of your crazy ass chicken devouring the tarantula. *blech* What an amazing cast of characters you share your life with. How blessed is that?

  11. What a lovely bunch of coconuts this was....all standing in a row. Big ones, small ones...all viewed with great big smiles. The poignant ones, the memory ones, there all at 7 Miles.

You have blessed us with your humor, your honesty, your tenacity, your wild woman doings, your love of family, friends and the land and we are the better for it.

Thank you for so very much this last year. And cheers with one of those adult beverages to many more. Oma Linda (a true fan)

  17. Love the travelogue through your life this past year!
I don't know if it's just my senior brain, but it seemed like there were a few "never before seen" photos? Also, what is the accompanying music? I know I've heard it before, but please don't make me go trolling around iTunes to identify it!

  20. My husband, who was in another room when I first played this, wanted to know where the nice music was coming from, so I started the video over so he could watch it too. I named them one after the other but could not bring myself to talk too much. Tears kept getting in the way....

Hoping 2013 brings all of you hope and happiness and perhaps a special kitty or two....

  21. That was great, thank you for sharing your beautiful life and your sweet critters. I look forward to it every day, and I hope 2013 brings you all good things and maybe a batch of kittens to help keep Smooch from getting too big of a head being the only house kid. Although Im sure Lucy would be happy to move in! Cheers!

  22. EvenSong, the music is "Simple Gifts from Appalachain Spring," written by Aaron Copland and performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra.

Thank you all for stopping by tonight. Your comments are making me cry, damnit. Now go out and party like it's 2013.

  25. This was so wonderful that I kept pausing it and backing up to see parts over and over. I didn't want to miss anything. We are all grateful that you take the time to share your life with us. I can't imagine how much time it took you to choose the pictures to put in the video. Once you get started looking at pictures, there's no stopping until you've see them all. Then you had to take the time to decide which ones to include, or not. We're all waiting for the next adventure at 7MSN. Thanks for sharing your life with us.

  36. Amazing! Happy New Year!

  37. Truly, every creature on the 7MSN and beyond is beautiful, HOWEVER, that said, if George and Alan get ANY CUTER you're gonna have to call Hollywood. I know there was the "3 Stooges," but there are 2 comedians here (I'm giving Hank credit as the straight man) with 4 legs....that are FARRRRR more handsome and definitely more curious! Happy New Year to you and Smooch and all of those other beautiful Hollywood-worthy creatures. Prosperous New Year to Ya'll!

  38. So many great pictures...I love seeing the wildlife in your part of the world. Love the one where the little guy is jumping out of the barn - so cute!

    Happy New Year!

  39. Thanks, Carson, for the music ID. I knew it was based on the "simple gifts" melody, but wasn't sure the whole title. And my hubby correctly identified Copland (after I asked you!). Didn't realize it was the Boston Pops folks, but that makes perfect sense.
    Happy new year!
