George and Alan go to town and get drunk, among other things

  1. Do you have to clean sheaths on burros, too?

(We do with the horses once a year when they are sedated and get their teeth floated. It usually brings out a chorus or two of the sheath cleaning song...)

  5. Geez...I didn't realize ticks could be a problem in your neck of the woods. I'll have to ask my vet about that for Russell. I love how they needed to 'wash off' the smell from town! :)

  7. I enjoyed every minute of the video and the perfect accompanying song! Poor boys! Violated while under the effect - I wonder if they feel that way?

  8. You make everything look so easy! I've had dogs I had to fight to get to the vet.

  9. I'm glad the trip was uneventful.
Love the rubber glove "Are you drunk enough?" test. A bath in familiar dirt is the best.

  13. I can't believe your boys are so good when the vet violates their mouths!!! I'd never let anyone stick that file thing inside MY mouth!!!

  16. I guess that wasn't the kind of "float" they were hoping for in town....one of the root beer variety would have been much preferred!

as stressful as it is getting to the vet, isn't it such a wonderful feeling afterwards knowing they have been examined head to toe and parts in between and that everything is fine :)
