A little rain, a little mud, a lot of stinkeye

We had a little rain this week – no gully washers, but a tenth of an inch here and a tenth of an inch there,
enough to make a little mud...

... and a lot of stinkeye.

Of all the boys, George gives the best stinkeye.

He likes to combine it with a variety of nostril flares and lip pursings so that no stinkeye is alike.
Sort of like snowflakes.

Alan is better at vertical posturing.

Whenever Alan goes head to head with George in a stinkeye,

George inevitably comes out the winner.

  1. Eheheh, great photos!

We got a bit of rain last night too - it was welcome - unlike the constant winds today!

Love the photo of Alan rearing :)

  3. Great pics of the two comedians!
I wondered as I watched the news last night, if you were getting some of the rain that was crossing NM. Hopefully, you'll get some more today!

  4. Heck, George's stinkeye even intimidates ME! He's definitely the winner.

  6. I'm glad to see you're getting a little rain. Although Alan hasn't perfected his stinkeye, he can sure bring it out in George. Love the "head to head" pic.

  7. Burro nostrils are the best and George's stinkeye is just great.

  8. World champion tusslers but George certainly has the edge when it comes to the stinkeye.
So glad that you at least got some rain....even if it was just enough for mud splats for the 4 leggeds. Todays storm forecast looks more promising out your way. Fingers crossed for moisture....xoxo OmaLinda

  10. That last stinkeye belongs on your calendar. Yes, George wins that contest, but Alan eyes are just stinkin' cute!

  11. Cute folks always have trouble trying to look nasty.

  12. Oh boy, those are some outstanding looks. Who needs the spoken word when you can throw those faces around?

  13. You know Alan's just too sweet to do a really nasty stinkeye.
