Trolling

The front yard is Wynonna's turf, so Smooch doesn't get to play there very often. But the other night after Wynonna went to sleep, I gave Smooch the chance to explore the princess's property.

She headed straight for the culvert.

Me: Smooch, relax. I'll watch out for coyotes and trespassers while you go sniff around.

Smooch: No, thanks. You're freakin' oblivious when you're taking pictures.
Somebody has to be the responsible one around here.

Smooch: You go ahead and do your thing and I'll do mine.

Smooch: You never know...I might find a troll in here.

  3. Why, are Wynona and Smooch mutually exclusive? Don't get along?

  7. I enjoyed that last show also. Those who live in Michigans upper peninsula call us who live in the lower pensinula trolls. Trolls are those who live below the Mackinac Bridge.

I really thought you were the top winner in PW's photo contest. I kept on scrolling down the page and not seeing your picture till the bottom. Congratulations!!!

  8. Oooo...I wonder if Wynnona will notice that there was an interloper in her territory while she was off attending to other important duties.

  10. Ooooh, I had myself sitting in that dry (and warm) culvert right along with Smooch this morning. And I totally know what my butt looked like when I stood up. :-)

  11. You must feel so blessed to have such a wonderful watch dog. Never seen a dog on alert as much as Smooch. And such a cutie too.
