Alan looks for somebody to play with

Alan: George won't play with me.

Me: Bring the ball over here. We'll play with you.

Me: Wouldn't it be easier to pick it up instead of pushing it?
Alan: Probably, but it makes more noise this way.

Alan: Hey, Smooch, wanna chase the ball down the fence?

Smooch: Not really.
Alan: Mom!
Me: Easy there, Alan. Your nose might explode.

  1. HA .. I can't believe that he pushed the ball in the dirt. Too funny, but I laughed myself silly over the last picture ... what is with his nose? Eeeek!! Also can't believe Smooch is ignoring Alan.

  6. A silly question - why are Alan's nostrils so dilated?

  7. Awe, poor buddy, no one will play with him. I love the scraping/pushing of the jolly ball. And again, love those burro nostrils.

  8. Poor Alan! Nobody wants to play and all mom can do is snap pictures. :)

  9. How George can resist a sweet request like that is beyond me!
Look at those lovely mud-free donkey bodies - I bet they smell so good in the sunshine! I can't wait for summer again :-)

  10. Calm down, Alan. Breath!! I will come play with you. I could bring some new toys to play with like a really large jolly ball (stability ball).

  11. Wow...Alan looks like something from the bar in the original Star Wars, there. Very impressive.

  12. The last photo is so cute! What will Alan tell us doing this funny things with his nose? Is it to burros to communicate this way? Smoochs declaration is clear to see...

  13. I'm thinking Smooch is accustomed to a ball looking like a ball. You know...round, bouncy, rolly?

  14. Just a guess, but I think Alan might be trying to clear dust out of his nostrils.

You have an award waiting for you on my blog. Hope that's okay.

  15. Thanks, I needed a good laugh! That last photo cracked me up, as did the trail through the dirt from the jolly ball!
