Wynonna beats the heat at the day spa

When Saturday's temperature hit triple digits, Wynonna took matters into her own hands,
tipping over her water bowl to make herself a refreshing puddle.

The rejuvenating and restorative properties of a mud facial are not lost on the porcine process.
She dove in snout first.

She was counting on the mud to smooth her wrinkles and tighten her skin as it dried.

Sorry, toots, it's not workin'.

  1. What a good laugh for first thing Monday morning! The pictures of Wynonna with her facial treatment are the best, especially the 2nd one where she's smiling!!!

Deets sure seems relaxed enough and his look in the last picture is priceless, as are your words that go with it!

To quote from that obnoxious Larry--"I don't care who you are, that's funny!"

  4. Smart girl, bringing the spa to her. She manages to look happy and gorgeous all at the same time.

Hope the temps drop back to normal soon.

  6. Funny, funny, funny....She's knows Deets is just jealous of her beautiful self....So how many times do you have to fill her bowl on a daily basis?

  7. Ohhhhh thank you! I asked for a picture of Wynonna in her mud hole and this one made me laugh:-) She is a treasure with or without her wrinkles. I'm sure Deets will never appreciate the mud facial but for her, it's pure bliss.

  11. This is funny and that last picture and comment priceless.
These weather post just made me wonder how the goat is doing in this heat? I have some older animals and it's making them miserable.

  20. Hmmm. I've tried three different times to leave a comment and it just isn't going through.

Wynonna, your mud bath is fabulous, don't listen to Deets. You just do what you enjoy best and tell Carson to keep taking your photos for us.

    Happy rooting!

  21. What the heck Wynonna! Deets is definitely not amused! Being that he is a cat he is also far superior to such antics.

  22. Poor Wynonna ...she needs a bigger pool....or maybe a spa assistant to swab her down....

  23. Well we think the Porcine Princess is just lovely! Deets mind your manners! Ken and Mary of Fancy Fibers Farm, TX where we too are ticking triple digits!

  25. "Spa MSN"

Hmmmmmm, Linda, could be a business venture. And Deets could play the role of the snobby girl at the front where you check to make sure you feel completely inadequate. And Wynnona could be the wonderful lady who slathers the mud all over and makes sure things are just right.

  26. What a clever girl! This is what I love about pigs - she's obviously watched you make her mud bath and being naturally smart she's thought 'I can do that!'. Sometimes I think it's best that pigs don't have fingers or walk upright cos we'd be in a heap of trouble! Haha.
