The stars of the show

Those fresh Maryland blue crabs I showed you yesterday? They were not the only highlight of the day. The boys of Morning Bray Farm provided the entertainment and, as usual, stole the show.

Bernard provided all the comic relief.

He is such a character! And he knows it and flaunts it, which makes you love him all the more.

If Morning Bray Farm were Saturday Night Live, Bernard would be John Belushi.

Ellsworth is the leading man, so very dignified...

...say nothing of handsome.

Not that Bernard isn't distinguished as well.

But his good looks are overshadowed by his bad-boy behavior.

Nigel is still trying to figure out his role. He wants to be a star like everybody else...

...but he still suffers from a bit of stage fright.

Now where does that leave Fergus? Like all good supporting actors, his role may have gone unnoticed but it was critical to advance the plot. Sorry, little buddy, you did such a good job of being my tripod that I wasn't ready for your close-up. Next time.

  15. Lots and lots of great burro photos today! And it's so fun to read the post over at Morning Bray in addition to your own post - Carson at work, that's not something we see too often. Looking assertive there, the burro whisperer herself in action!
