More action from the finish line

At the finish line of yesterday's NASCAR action, there was some confusion as to whether Alan was giving George a little victory man hug or a big old chomp on the neck.

Let's just say that Alan was so relieved to have finally caught George that he wasn't about to let go.

George made a vain attempt to counter with a leg pull...

...but he was no match for Alan's jaws of steel.
Who knew burros could open their mouths so wide?

Alan, I know what you're doing back there.
Now release him and just go take your victory lap.

  1. I wondered yesterday if Alan was resting or biting and your pictures today made my jaw drop at how much of a bite he does have on George! Yikes, I never imagined that burro's did such things! Do they ever cry out in pain .. I mean that looks like it would hurt!!

  2. Ohhh not sure on that one. It reminds of when men are shaking hand and it becomes a contest of who winces first. I guess once Alan caught him he wanted to make sure he stayed. Looks like a holding violation to me.

  5. I agree with Brenda...I don't think the race came to a fair and honest conclusion. Looks like interference to me!

  6. Ouch! Poor George. It's a good thing for Alan that he's such a good sport. I totally agree w/C in WI - you don't need cable...

  7. Maybe Alan is waiting for George to cry Uncle or something.

I had a cousin like that...

Um, well, I guess that I still have the cousin. You know what I mean.

  8. Wow. George looks like he's taking that all in stride. I'm wondering if there was an imprint of Alan's teeth when he finally let go?!

  9. Looks kinda like a prize fighter hanging on the opponent...in a toothy kind of way!

  11. What a riot. They're such natural athletes, segueing from a marathon to a wrestling match in one easy move. I think I detect a bit of an impish glint in Alan's eyes....little rascal.

  12. I once had a burro latch onto my shoulder and it left a huge bruise. Tell George I can sympathize.
