Alan, the roll model

The past few evenings, the boys have headed out to the back 40 after dinner. The grass out there is about an eighth of an inch high. Spring has sprung! Party in the pasture! I followed them last night with my camera, but they were so focused on finding ittybitty green sprouts, it was hard to get their attention.

I was trying to get them all lined up for a shot in front of the mountain when Alan decided he'd rather roll than model.

Get up, Alan! She's trying to take a picture here.
Stop being a such a butthead.

I'll stop being a butthead when you stop being a knucklehead.

Well how am I supposed to get up when you're standing in the way?

Mom, Alan won't cooperate.

  1. I got a good laugh over those pictures and your captions this morning! My goodness if they aren't just like children!!!

I notice that Hank is keeping his distance at this point in time, not wanting to be a part of the craziness.

  5. Alan is demonstrating the "if it's this good to eat, let's rub it all over my body" aspect of gastronomy.
I do the same thing with brie.

  6. That last one - it really does look like George is disgusted with Alan. Love it. Burros with attitude.
