  1. Smooch's blanket is way too cool ... I sure can't let Wally see that! I also see why Deets was looking in the window yesterday ... he was wondering where blankie and sheep skin were.

  10. The last picture is my nightmare! Big Foot always did that when there was a houseful of people and always....always....right in the middle of everything! I'm laughing here. Great picture.

  11. It was so nice and heartwarming to see your pets all snuggled and cozy and then I came to the last photo and cracked up...anyone who has owned a cat knows that is the epitome of relaxed in a cat.

  12. Love it! I've always told my husband that if there's such a thing as reincarnation - I want to come back as a house cat.

  19. Carrie, shhh...don't tell anyone, but Blogger has a feature where you can schedule your posts. I always get mine ready in the evening, then schedule them to appear at 4 a.m. the following morning so that those who wish to have their morning coffee with us can do so.

  23. I've only recently discovered your Blog, but it's a FAVOURITE already. GREAT Photos of LOVELY Animals every day, plus Humour. What more to ask for !?

Your 1st photo of Smooch today reminds me of the time a friend's ever-patient old Standard Poodle allowed her little Grandaughters to paint his nails with Kiddie Nail Polish. It was the next day before anyone noticed. Better check. It looks like Smooch's little friend Ruby may have done the same for her and she's just lying there paws outstretched waiting for them to dry.

As for Snapper, I have a Rabbit who performs similar contortions in the name of personal hygiene. Oh to be so flexible !

  24. Oh my goodness, that last kitty could be Celine! No sense of decorum. I have to admit, I have a special spot in my heart for Rosebud. Hugs to all your furry critters today.

  25. Your critters are as spoiled are ours.

  26. Snapper is so flexible, just like my Biscuit. Bye now, naptime.

  27. I believe that "Stewart Little" would be very jealous of Snapper; since Snapper can actually clean his belly and not have to cat nap in between licks! What a great shot of Snapper!!!!

  28. My dogs would love your place!

  29. Ha! I admired the first 3 photos as everyone else did, and when I got to the 4th I cackled - and I see I'm not the only one who did! My cat usually does that when she's on the fleece blanket over my legs when I'm in the recliner. I guess she feels very comfortable with me!!
