Saturday encore ~ It's beginning to look alot like...

I'm repeating this post from last December 22 to inspire me...because not all the presents are bought, the grocery shopping is not done, the house is a freakin' mess, and I'm not at all ready for the annual 7MSN holiday extravanganza. But almost all the elves are trained. Maybe I can get one of them to vacuum.

Whew. The presents are bought, the grocery shopping is done, the house is sort of clean, and I'm almost ready for the annual 7MSN holiday extravaganza. There will be seven adults and three children here for Christmas dinner...why, I'm not sure, since I'm the biggest scrooge on the block, but it's a tradition. So all I have left to do is hang a decoration or two inside the house so that it looks a little less round-up-y and a little more Christmas-y.

Smooch insisted on helping.

And you should know me well enough by now to know where this is going.

So with Smooch and the kitchen appropriately decked, it's on with the show.

  2. Whew, Christmas should never be this hard.
Sounds like you've got quite a crowd or was that last year?
Smooch will even wear Christmas lights to please. What a dog!

    Best always, Sandra

  3. Well, looks pretty darn good to me. I am done shopping and all gifts are wrapped even! I will be having two parties this year. One for Christmas day with mom and dad, and the day after for the rest of the family. Smooch looks like he was a big help ;)

  4. Oh my goodness, none of my dogs would sit still for that. Those lights would be trailed all over the house as the chosen stoopie tried to escape. Good dog, Smooch.

  7. Smooch looks very festive. You did better than I did as far as decorating. All I did was put the tree up. No ornaments, just lights. Okay, we have an artificial tree that came with lights so all I have to do is plug it in and voila', done. The outside is decorated a lot more than the inside. Oh, the holidays!

  8. Love dear ole Smooch! And you do your lights like I DO! I love it!
And in reading your blog today, it is as if I wrote! I am not in the spirit, but because I am hosting dinner, I had to put up a few decorations just to make it look "in the spirit" because this year, I could of gone with NO DECORATIONS at all! LOL TO me, my Christmas could of just been spent with the horses! LOL They don't need all the hoopla! Well, except your elf training. Just way to cute!

Smooch is the most appropriately named dog ever. You just want to go up and give her a smooch!

  12. Good job --- dressing up the 7 MSN is for the other people who will see it Christmas-y. When you see their faces light up....you'll have YOUR gift.
