It wasn't an image I had in mind and had nothing to do with Thanksgiving, but who was I to argue?

We all stood there for awhile, wondering who would be the first to move.

George took a few steps, and Deets decided that was enough excitement for one afternoon.

I put the camera away and decided to just think about all the things I am thankful for instead of photographing them. The memory card wouldn't have been big enough anyway.

Aaaah Deets .. wanting to be the center of attention and it sure back-fired on him this time. Great pictures!
I have many blessings in my life/so much to be thankful for, one of which is having your blog to enjoy every day. Thanks Carson and Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Carson! Maybe Deets would like to ride in the cart and drive the boys? I'm thankful for your friendship and great photos and your fabulous four-legged family. Hope you have fun today!
Happy Thanksgiving, Carson. I am thankful for being invited into your life. Your blog is the best. It makes me smile every day. I am grateful for that. Thank you!
Best always, Sandra
Both George and Deets are thankful you had such a great idea! Georges stinkeye, in the first picture, speaks volumes...
Happy Thanksgiving! Cute pics! Enjoy your day!
Happy Thanksgiving Carson. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving.
I'm thankful for your peaceful, critter loving life and for sharing it with me. I love the beautiful views - landscape and critterwise. Thanks, Linda.
Look at the ears! They are both quite ok with it, but still ... on guard. But I love love love Deets! - he's everywhere and his self confidence is sky high, just as my childhood cats - also outdoors and free farmcats. Do the indoor gang know what they're missing? And what happened with Snapper's attempt to explore outdoors? (It was Snapper, right?)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your entire family furry critters. I'm so very thankful to number you all among my friends.
Beautiful way to start a Thanksgiving Day. Looks like you have much to be thankful for, Linda.
Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your day with your four legged loved ones.

OMG, you got Deets on George! Great photos. Happy Thanksgiving Linda.
I'm impressed they both posed for so long. Shock will do that. Thanks for the smile today!
Quite simply put...I am thankful for having met you this year, Linda. You've taught me all about blogging and filled my days with humor and beauty.
And, darn you, you've made me miss New Mexico more. But I look so forward to moving there and already having my first good friend in place.
Happy T-day to all critters at the 7MSN!
Hugs!
George is a cool customer! (Looks like Alan was coming to his rescue....) I love the landing shot of Deets.
Happy Thanksgiving!
if deets had tried scratching Georges back he could have gotten free rides forever!!!
I totally agree if i were to photograph all i am grateful for there are not enough memory cards inthe world :) Happy Thanksgiving
George - what a patient guy! My guess is that the result would not have been the same had that been Alan! :-)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I am thankful that you share your critters with us. They always make me smile(and want a donkey or two. Boss says "NOT"!!!!) oh, well. sigh.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and all the critters you share with us every day! George is such a good sport. :)
Love that Deets! Came here for the equids, got hooked by the cat. How did he come into your life? How did he get his name?
