Saturday Encore ~ More Fun Than a Pail of Donkeys

Instead of taking Saturdays off from my posting routine, I think I'll use the break to dust off some of my favorite posts from the archives. Here's one from November 2007, about three weeks after I brought George and Alan home, when I was discovering just how much fun these two could be.

  1. Those two are simply THE best! I always get the biggest kick out of their pictures and adventures.

I'm sure you are so thankful you got them, and I'm wondering, what made you decide to get them?

  2. Pat, I wanted an easy-keeping companion animal for the horse that got left behind when I rode off, and I'd read that burros do better in pairs than alone. So I got two burros and Hank STILL cries and carries on like a baby when I ride off on Lyle. But I also got two new best friends, so I'm not complaining.

  5. Chook, I know some burros can cause quite a racket but these two don't. Alan might bray once a day, if he has something to complain about.
