So what if the rice is boiling over...

And the chicken is sticking to the pan...

And the smoke detectors are starting to scream...

Some things are just worth stopping for.

OMG. That's stunning.
Gorgeous sunset... well worth a few crisp bites. Or maybe cereal :)

I guess if I saw that outstanding beauty out my window, I'd go running with camera in hand too. Too bad about the rice/chicken but at least you know your smoke detectors are working!
absolutely beautiful, it looks as if the mountain is on fire
Outstanding! The colors are amazing! I'd burn dinner too if I had that to look at.
Absolutely gorgeous!
Sunset Photo #1 is my new background.. ( sorry George and Lyle.......I'll get you back up there soon, I promise :) )
I agree, those photos are show-stoppers for sure. So what if you end up having Rice Crispies for dinner while your pans soak!
absolutely stunning sunset series...the colors pop!
have a wonderful evening.
Absolutely love these pics, the first one is my favourite.
Have a great weekend.

WOWOWOWWW! I'm speechless!
:)
Fantastic SWF photographs. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing colors, great shot! :)
These are gorgeous--and I don't think we ever really do get spoiled into becoming blase about spectacular sunsets. Ours in north Texas are usually somewhat less spectacular, but every once in a while (my kitchen faces west and north) I'll let something burn while I run out to see what kind of a picture I can make out of the drama in the back yard. Thanks for these; they're simply lovely.
Beautiful sunset...gorgeous colors...
Wow! I just want to jump in that first photo. I never get tired of the beautiful sky.
I'm with you, to hell with the rice and chicken when you can get shots like this.
Beautiful photos all of them, but the first one is really wonderful!
that is so worthy of burning dinner... I hear peanut butter and jelly calling :)
just stunning!
That was so worth burning your dinner over...absolutely amazing...
Yes, they are & that sky is no exception! Absolutely gorgeous!
You can always go to McDonald's! hehehehe
Man does not live by bread alone ... it was so worth letting the rice go in order to get that shot. Good job!
That really makes me crave summer....don't know why.
Did you have to settle for some Cup o'Noodles or a PB&J?? ;)
All those shots are brilliant.

Let the smoke detector scream. Those photos are wonderful!!
Absolutely spectacular, I would have had a crispy dinner too.
Let the worries take care of themselves. Scenes like these cannot wait! Glorious photo shots!
I'll just have to place New Mexico in my holiday plans. I've been to Santa Fee, but this is just not the same. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful!! So what if dinner tastes a little scorched. :)
Breathtaking! Worth throwing out dinner.
Yo Linda.........food can wait, right? I finally got my follower pic in your line-up. "He's" the little cute miniature horse sportin' his harness. Thanks for all you help with MY blog!
I used to live in Albuquerque, NM from second grade until fifth grade. I totally agree with you I could never get over the sunrises and sunsets in the Land of Enchantment. I miss them sooooo much! Your photographs are fantastic! I am so glad that you grabbed your camera and then shared what you saw with us. I live in Illinois. It is flat here. Sunsets happen but nothing like NM.

Thanks for sacrificing your dinner. These pictures are wonderful.
So sorry you burned your dinner... but sooo glad you captured that beautiful sky!
