Mother Nature steals the show

It's pretty hard to upstage the fabulous burrito brothers, but Mother Nature did just that earlier this week. She capped off a 70-degree afternoon with this spectacular light show.

For more views of Mother Nature's performances around the world, check out the links on the Skywatch home page.

Amazingly beautiful, but why does George and Allan look like they're arguing - under such a beautiful sky? Or maybe George is cleaning Allan's teeth perhaps?

You don't really WANT a bunch of newcomers moving to New Mexico, do you? Well, with all these gorgeous sunsets you keep posting, I'm seriously considering a move.

You know if we didn't know any better we would almost think it was two donkeys in love in the foreground, having a romantic date watching the sunset. ;D

Once again, and I know I'm repeating myself, OH HOW I MISS NEW MEXICO. Sigh. Thank you for my fix. Can I steal that and save it to my computer for everyday non-internet viewing?

Joy, thanks for asking - permission granted. I may use this one for my own screensaver.

That really is gorgeous. Although, in spite of the fabulous colours and textures in the sky, it would definitely be lacking something if the Fabulous Burrito Brothers (love that! They could take that on the road, but I digress.) weren't shown in profile at the bottom.

Have a great weekend!
