The coolest raffle ever

You've all seen those charming little vintage travel trailers, all decked out in their cowgirl finest by Sisters on the Fly, right? If you haven't, click on this link...but come right back after you've drooled over the pictures.

One of the Sisters has donated a vintage Shasta trailer, all pinked out, to be raffled off to benefit one of their friends who is dealing with breast cancer. Here's a look at the inside.

I learned about this raffle from Mikey, who heard about it from Juli Thorson. Tickets are only $5.00, and the drawing will be held on Valentine's Day. You can see more pictures, learn about all the people involved, and donate via PayPal at the Pink Trailer site.

I've bought my tickets am seriously planning on winning this thing. I think it would make the perfect guest house.

  3. I was inspired by Sisters on the Fly (a small group of them came to a historic ranch fundraiser near our place last year) to buy this little trailer and renovate it: http://heartofacowgirl.blogspot.com/2008/10/heart-of-cowgirl-studio.html

  7. This is all so new to me...I'm constantly amazed by the creativity and inventiveness of people. Who'd have thought you could do this with a caravan..
I covet this, really. Do you think they'd export it to France?

  11. What a good cause. I bought some tickets and posted the info on my blog as well. I'd have to dog proof it, but it sure would be fun to have.
