As I settled in to watch the election results Tuesday night, I was confronted with two opposing views: the tv and the sunset out my window.
The view out the window helped to remind me that no matter what the outcome of the election, the sun would still come up in the morning.

Gorgeous!
What a breathtaking view. Beautiful.
Great post - Love the wit and wisdom behind the photos!
If only some of our blogging friends would stop for a moment, read your blog, and think, prior to publishing some of their hateful drivel, that maybe they shouldn't hit that 'publish' button after all....
In this case, give me the wonderful sunset.
Let me get this out of the way first: beautiful sky watch entry, so much life in those colors.
Now for that ER thing: I love it when you said the show died with Dr. Green's character. Hahaha. I used to be a faithful follower, until Dr. Green died. That's when my interest in the show died as well.
But this season, being its last one, I feel nostalgic and have decided to watch it again. Also, there's nothing better to see at that timeslot :D.
Thanks for the info about the episode tonight.
Beautiful picture, Linda. One of the many reasons I love to live in New Mexico.

Wow, that is absolutely beautiful. How awesome is it to be able to view that right outside your window! Great picture, great place to live.
Lovely skies you have shared with us, thank you.
And the sunset sure was a stunner!
Amazing colors. Thanks! Happy SWF.
That's a wonderful sunset -- and perhaps a harbinger of the good news to come later in the evening!
Gorgeous, beautiful, awesome sunset! Thanks. I needed that!
OMG, so beautiful!!! I think I would toss my tv out the window if I had that view in the evenings!
And isn't one of the greatest things about this election that so many people voted!?! Many who had never voted before voted this time. A record turnout like this makes ALL of us the big winners.
I'm afraid I'd have to pick watching the sunset over the tv. We don't have tv so I'm nicely weaned from it--sunsets, however, I will never be weaned from. GORGEOUS!
Beautiful!
I vote for the sunset. The news will still be there tomorrow.
Wow! Incredible colors in the second shot!
The New Mexican sky is endlessly fascinating to me. Thank you for yet another spectacular look at it.
That sunset is so awe inspiring.
Oh my various gods, that is an amazing sunset. I love love love the New Mexico sky. She is always changing and never anything short of breathtaking. Thank you for sharing!
BEAUTIFUL skies!
Happy SWF!
it's beautiful!!!
Nothing like Mother Nature to provide an instant reality check. Great SkyWatch post.
OMG Linda. Is that for real?! Those colours are magnificent.
Wonderful colors! The second picture has a very strong atmosphere! :)
Amazing...
beautiful and a good waker up to what's really important.
thanx

If the picture is that amazing I can't imagine how spectacular it was in person! Gorgeous!
God put on a great show for you indeed! I'd like to see anything on a box equal that.
OMG, that is spectacular!!! It looks even better when enlarged. I cannot imagine that anything on TV could compete with that!
Thank you for checking in at my blog, "You may be a Pony Cousin, if..."
I have carefully considered all of the factors and have determined that there are bloggers out there who are just as "horse crazy" as the Pony Cousins. However, i have found many, many bloggers who have taken "horse crazy" to new heights!
Check in to the blog: http://kjmiddleoftheroad.blogspot.com/2008/11/who-will-be-pony.html
Find out if you have what it takes to be a Pony Cousin!
Love those big New Mexico skies! You can see the weather coming for days ahead. Magnificent.
I choose the sunset every time. Beautiful!!!
That is an amazingly beautiful sunset!
Somehow I missed this post of yours...gorgeous sunset. I'd forgotten just how beautiful they are in the SW. I lived outside of Tucson for a couple of years and really enjoyed the sunsets there.
Wow, very pretty!!!
