Moonlighting

A funny thing happened the last time a stranger was in my house. She was here to purchase a cabinet I was selling, and on her way out the door, she saw my homegrown piece of art.

She decided she had to have one for herself. Whoohoo...Rancher-woman had her first commission. I won't be quitting my day job, but I'm happy with the way it turned out, and more importantly, so is she.

  1. I meant to tell you - in one of the current horse catalogs, you can order one of these Warholian silkscreens customized for your horses/pets!

There are so many catalogs coming in right now I can't remember which one it was.

  2. Linda, very nice. What's the medium? Do you posterize photos and then print them?

    Whatever it's great.

  6. Dan, the medium is pixels, but it will now be printed and stretched on canvas. I start out with photographs and edit them, then design the borders in an illustrator application. It all ends up as one giant image.

Billie, I have seen something similar in the "In the Company of Dogs" catalog. Their version uses one picture for all four squares. I have too many animals and not enough wall space, hence I consolidated for my version.
