An important piece of paper

When you adopt a mustang or burro from the BLM, the adoption isn't official for a year. You have to fill out more paperwork and then get a vet to vouch that they're in good health and that you're taking proper care of them. Geez, all the BLM had to do was read this blog and they would have known that. Be that as it may, George and Alan's adoption is now official and I have the papers to prove it.

Before they were George and Alan, they were 0087 and 0734. They wore these tags on a piece of twine around their neck at the BLM holding facility. Now the tags are in an honored spot on a shelf in my living room.

Hey, guys! Come over here. I have something really important to tell you.

I think this calls for a group hug, don't you?

I'd rather have my butt scratched.

  8. Linda, that's so great. And I understand. Sometimes I like to have my butt scratched instead of a hug - but I like hugs too.

  14. They are just SOOoooooo cute! It's also nice to see their numbers! I don't think we have Scout and Cali's because they both went through a prison training program. BUT, we do have their BLM papers. Maybe I'll have to do a post on theirs!

  15. It's better than a marriage license - actually, it's kind of like a marriage license, I guess. Anyway, I can't imagine how life at the 7MSN was without the burro boys - they bring me great joy and I know how much you love them. Great group hug shot!
