Oh don't stop taking lots of pictures. As you said, they are free digitally, and if they are not right you can always delete them. That is what I have been starting to do, is delete the blurry ones, and only keeping the ones that turn out. Saves room on my storage space. I use to keep ALL that I took. Simply because I figured someday I would use part or all of the picture in a photoshop, but that is not going to happen anytime soon. So now I just delete the ones that do not turn out.

Don't ever stop taking photographs!! I love your photos, captions and the gang.

I don't take many photos as my hands shake too much and I get blurred shots unlike yours. So please continue so that we can enjoy the beauty. I love the one of Lucy poking the top of her head and ears over the bush. It's as if she is saying "Here I am." (with a Spanish accent)

Thanks for posting your photos. Your blog with my coffee, or iced chai from Starbucks (talk about a bad habit!), is my morning routine. I tend to overshoot when I take photos as well. A recent visit to the Bosque Del Apache resulted in over 1,700 photos! But I have become ruthless in my culling. And with the digital age making picture taking cheap and easy, there is nothing wrong with taking a few snapshots!

I have the same affliction - with film I took photos "more carefully" with digital I shoot a lot - theory is, can delete the ones I do not like. BUT it has also allowed me to try more things too (different settings, angles, etc.). I will also agree with Shirley the Sunday Stills (and they do Macro Monday) has helped me stop and really look at what I'm shooting before I shoot it.

I find the same advantage with digital but I try to be ruthless in deleting anything that isn't as good as the other ten or twenty I took of the same thing. It's the only way to keep control-- that and folders.
